EGFA counsels Telecom Argentina on $300m loan

Argentinian law firm EGFA Abogados has acted as adviser to Telecom Argentina in the signing of a $300 million syndicated loan from Deutsche Bank.

Telecom Argentina 1EGFA lawyers engaged on the case were partner Baruki González and associate Delfina Lynch.

The loan matures in May 2022 and will be used to partially cover a loan agreed in February 2018.
 
Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas acted as managing agent for the lender.


Telecom Argentina was advised in the US by Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, involving partner Andrés de la Cruz, associate Antonio Pietrantoni and international lawyer Rodrigo Lopez Lapeña.

Deutsche Bank was advised in Argentina by Estudio Beccar Varela’s partner Alejandro Poletto and senior associate Daniel Levi, and in the US by Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. Partner Tomer Pinkusiewicz, of counsel Toren J. Murphy and visiting associate attorney María De Bedout were engaged as advisers.
