Estudio O’Farrell and Bruchou advise on YPF Luz project financing
Estudio O’Farrell and Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi advise on cross-border financing for energy project of YPF Energía Eléctrica S.A.
Estudio O’Farrell advised YPF Energía Eléctrica S.A. (YPF Luz), an Argentinean electric and renewable energy company, on the signing of a credit agreement with HSBC Bank USA N.A. for an amount of up to $30,000,000 US dollars. The credit facility is backed by a guarantee from Finnvera plc, the export credit agency of Finland.
Estudio O’Farrell, together with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP advised YPF Luz. Meanwhile, Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi and Milbank LLP acted as legal advisors to HSBC Bank USA N.A. and Finnvera.
YPF Luz was also advised in-house by general counsel Ricardo H. Castañeda as well as Catalina Beccar Varela and Mariela Aguilar.
Simpson Thacher & Barlett’s team included partner Juan Naveyra and international associate Justina Richards.
