EVVG Abogados appoints new partner

Escribens, Valdivieso, Vega Soyer & Guerra Abogados has hired Luis Enrique Antúnez y Olórtegui to strengthen and lead its litigation area

 Peruvian law firm, Escribens, Valdivieso, Vega Soyer & Guerra Abogados has appointed Luis Enrique Antúnez y Olórtegui as the new leader of its litigation practice.

With more than 30 years of experience, Luis Enrique Antúnez y Olórtegui is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and holds a Master’s Degree in International Economic Law from the Graduate School of the same university. He attended and concluded the Improvement Program for Business Owners – PPE (today PAD) at the School of Management of the University of Piura, as well as the Extrajudicial Conciliation Course at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and the Diploma in State Contracting and Acquisitions at the Lima Bar Association.

His practice focuses on litigation and arbitration. He has worked as arbitrator and lawyer in arbitration proceedings administered by the Arbitration Centre of the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL) and the OSCE. He has also carried out management and legal representation work for foreign and national companies in Peru. He has also advised leading companies in industry and commerce, as well as having experience in the public sector, having been legal advisor to the General Directorate of Administration of a public institution.

Thanks to his incorporation, the firm is now composed of 5 partners and 8 associates.
