EY Law advising on major Guatemala infrastructure projects
EY Law in Guatemala is advising on a number of important infrastructure projects in the country, including advising on a feasibility study for the modernisation of La Aurora International Airport and on the AeroMetro project, a cable car system for the capital city.
EY Law’s role in such projects includes legal advisory, risk analysis, document preparation, and the closing of financing.
EY Law is also advising the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (BCIE) on the identification of a second tranche of public infrastructure projects for the country that will be developed as public-private partnerships.
Partner Ruby Asturias (pictured), and Astrid Zosel, manager, at EY Law Guatemala, are leading the firm’s engagement in such projects.
“The infrastructure projects through public-private partnerships contribute to the growth of Central America’s economies, and for EY Law it is an honour to be the strategic partner of clients in their high-impact projects for the development of Guatemala,” Asturias said.
