EY Law appoints new manager in Panama
EY Law has appointed Ana Clement as its new manager to lead its practice in Panama, and which the firm says strengthens its presence in the region.
“Ana Clement will act as a leader and manager of the legal practice in Panama in order to continue strengthening our presence and differentiated offer in the region, and keep
building our market leadership”, according to Hernán Pacheco, EY Law Central America, Panama and Dominican Republic Managing Partner.
For the last decade, Clement was in-house counsel for a multinational company with responsibilities over several countries in Latin America. Her practice has focused on corporate and commercial law, intellectual
property, civil and commercial contracts, distribution and agency, compliance, labour law, compliance, corporate governance and regulatory issues, EY said in a statement.
Clement holds a Diploma in Human Resources Administration and Development Resources from the University of Louisville Panamá, and a graduate degree in Patents, Trademarks, Copyright and Competition from the Industrial Law
Institute (IDIUS) of Santiago de Compostela University in Spain. She also holds a degree in Law and Political Science from the University of Panama.
