EY Law Costa Rica recruits new associate partner



Abraham Stern, one of the few attorneys in Costa Rica with extensive experience in maritime, aviation and multimodal transportation law, has joined the EY Law team in the country as associate partner.



Abraham Stern EY LawStern’s hire aims to strengthen and expand the value offer of EY Law, the firm said.

“Abraham is a professional with great experience,” according to EY Law managing partner Hernán Pacheco. “His integration into EY Law will continue strengthening the presence and recognition of the firm in the region as a strategic business ally through an integrated service,” he added. 



Stern (pictured) also has vast knowledge in corporate, real estate and hospitality law, and has advised multinational clients in real estate development and condominium structuring. 



Prior to joining EY Law, Stern served as a partner in Sfera Legal and Pacheco Coto. 



He holds a master’s degree in admiralty law (maritime law) from the Law School of the University of Tulane and a law degree with distinction from the University of Costa Rica.
