FAS Advogados adds Banking, Payments and Fintechs new head

FAS Advogados has hired Vicente Piccoli M. Braga as a new partner and head of the Banking, Finance, Payments and Fintechs area

According to the firm, Vicente (pictured) has played an important role in several operations and regulatory projects and has extensive experience in Banking & Finance regulation, in addition to having worked in renowned law firms and at ANBIMA, Fundo Garantidor de Créditos (the Brazilian deposit insurer) and B3 (the Brazilian stock exchange).

Adding to his track record as a Financial regulation expert, Vicente also has a solid academic background, holding a PhD in Commercial Law from the University of São Paulo, a master’s degree in Law and Development from the Getulio Vargas Foundation School of Law, and a bachelor’s degree in Law from the Federal University of the State of Paraná, which was partially obtained through attendance at University of Coimbra, in Portugal.
