FAS Advogados announces new partner
FAS Advogados – Focaccia, Amaral e Lamonica Advogados has announced Felipe Bastos (pictured) as a new partner of the firm to reinforce the strategic role of the insurance and reinsurance practice. He will also expand the firm’s expertise in complex lawsuits, arbitration proceedings, mediations and domestic and international negotiations.
With 23 years of professional experience, Bastos advises domestic and foreign companies in the advisory and litigation areas, with extensive experience in various corporate contracts in the O&G industries, construction contracts, and in the energy sectors in general. Previously, he worked at Veirano Advogados.
Bachelor of Laws from UERJ, Felipe Bastos holds a master’s degree in the area from the University of Virginia, in the United States, and an MBA in Insurance and Reinsurance from Escola Nacional de Seguros, among other academic qualifications. He also teaches insurance law regularly in several universities and institutions, such as PUC-RJ and the School of Business and Insurance (ENS).
