FAS Advogados strengthens its Tax Litigation department
Focaccia, Amaral e Lamonica Sociedade de Advogados announced Leonardo Pagano as new coordinator in the Tax Litigation area
Focaccia, Amaral e Lamonica Sociedade de Advogados (FAS Advogados) announced Leonardo Luis Pagano Gonçalves as the new coordinator of the Tax Litigation department.
Pagano will be part of the team of specialists that integrate the area, which is currently responsible for the litigation performance in relation to all courts, judicial or administrative, that directly addresses complex and sophisticated tax issues. In addition, the area has the function of identifying the best option to add maximum value to the client’s business, with cost reduction and tax optimization, aiming to bring efficiency and tax compliance to its operations.
Leonardo has a degree in Law from the University Center of the United Metropolitan Colleges (FMU), with specialization in Administrative Tax Procedure and post-graduate studies in Tax Procedural Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), and post-graduate studies in Corporate Law from GVLaw, at the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV).
The new coordinator has a consolidated career in administrative tax litigation, having served as a member of the 2nd Regular Panel of the 4th Chamber of the 1st Judgment Section of the Administrative Council of Tax Appeals (CARF) and as a Judge of the 7th Chamber of the Tax and Fee Court of the State of São Paulo (TIT-SP), and is currently an Alternate Judge.
