FBPH expands to Manta, strengthening legal services in Ecuador

Flor Bustamante Pizarro & Hurtado (FBPH), a leading Ecuadorian law firm, has announced the opening of a new office in Manta, a port city on Ecuador’s central coast, marking its continued expansion across the country. This milestone follows the firm’s recent establishment in Cuenca, by southern Ecuador’s Andes mountains.

Manta, known as Ecuador’s largest fishing port and a vital economic hub on the coast, offers significant opportunities for growth and collaboration. By setting up operations in this dynamic city, FBPH aims to enhance its support for local industries and contribute to regional development.

The Manta office will be led by partner Andrés Chugá (pictured), an experienced attorney specializing in alternative dispute resolution (ADR), civil and commercial law, and intellectual property. Chugá will be joined by two associate attorneys, ensuring dedicated expertise tailored to the needs of clients in the region.

This expansion reflects FBPH’s dedication to excellence and its mission to deepen relationships with clients and communities throughout Ecuador. The firm remains a key player in various legal sectors, including energy, natural resources, corporate law, and dispute resolution.
