FCAM names Adler Van Woczikosky managing partner

FCAM Advogados (Ferraz de Camargo e Matsunaga Advogados) has appointed Adler Van Grisbach Woczikosky (pictured) as its new managing partner, effective this month. He succeeds Marcos Matsunaga, who is departing the firm to take on new professional challenges outside the practice.

Adler Van Grisbach Woczikosky began his career at FCAM Advogados as a trainee more than 20 years ago, progressing through every stage of the firm before being elevated to partner in 2017. His practice is focused on tax law, where he has built a track record advising national and multinational companies as both a lawyer and a counsellor on corporate tax committees.

Woczikosky holds a law degree from the Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR), a specialisation from the Instituto Brasileiro de Estudos Tributários (IBET), and an executive education qualification from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. He is a member of the Instituto de Direito Tributário do Paraná (IDT) and of the Tax and Corporate Committee of the Instituto Brasileiro dos Executivos de Finanças (IBEF/PR), and teaches courses on Brazil’s ongoing tax reform. He is also co-author of several publications in the tax field.

The transition comes as the firm marks its 35th anniversary. Under Woczikosky‘s leadership, FCAM intends to deepen client relationships, continue developing its professionals, and expand the integration of technology into its legal services delivery. The new managing partner has indicated that investment in cross-practice integration and legal technology will be central priorities of his tenure, with the aim of delivering more efficient and tailored solutions to clients.
