Felsberg advises Maxpress on its merger with I’M Press
Brazilian law firm Felsberg Advogados has advised local public relations platform Maxpress in its merger with I’M Press.
The two companies have created the I’Max brand as a result of the merger. Like Maxpress, I’M Press is one of the country’s largest PR platforms, and the merger will allow them to offer new services, in addition to being an activity and task management platform.
The merger is also part of an internationalisation plan, including expansion to other markets in Latin America, as well as the opening of a firm in the US, according to the law firm.
The new company aims to earn more than 10 million reais in 2019 and achieve the registration of 600 PR agencies.
Felsberg partner Miriam Machado (pictured), and associates Mirella Kaufman and Juliana Ferreira advised on the deal.
