Ferrere advises Kingspan on a joint venture with MV Aceros
Ferrere (Paraguay) has advised the Kingspan Group on the creation of a joint venture with MV Aceros. This joint venture will manufacture insulated metal panels and single-layer metal products, mainly for the Paraguayan market.
The Kingspan Group, based in Ireland, is a world leader in high-performance building insulation and cladding. With 212 factories in more than 80 countries, Kingspan’s mission is to accelerate a net-zero emissions future, in a firm commitment to the well-being of people and the planet, through its Planet Passionate program. MV Aceros is a Paraguayan company with extensive experience and knowledge of the Paraguayan market for metal construction products.
This strategic transaction recently obtained unconditional authorization from Paraguay’s National Competition Commission (CONACOM).
Ferrere was joined by partner Carlos Vasconsellos (pictured), as well as the following professionals: Raúl Pereira and Guillermo Gibbons (joint venture); Verónica Franco, Fernanda Benítez and Mario Morales (CONACOM authorization); Erika Bañuelos, Tanya Moreno and María José Salinas (application of the tax incentive regime).
It is worth noting that FERRERE Uruguay had already advised the Kingspan Group on other transactions, including the acquisition of Bromyros S.A. and Montfrío Ltda. in Uruguay, as well as a sponsorship agreement with the Uruguayan Rugby Union, reinforcing Kingspan’s desire to expand its presence in Latin America.
