Ferrere counsels CAF and Fondo on infrastructure project financing

Ferrere Uruguay has assisted CAF and Fondo II CAF-AM in the financing of Project PPP Circuit 2

 Ferrere has counselled CAF and CAF-AM Fund II in the financing of the Circuit 2 PPP Project, which aims at the design, construction, operation and financing of the road infrastructure of Route No. 9, Route No. 15 and the Route No. 9 – Route No. 15 By Pass.

The advice included assistance to the lenders during the negotiation of the PPP contract and its addendum with the Ministry of Transport and Public Works (MTOP), as well as the analysis of the bankability of the Project, in connection with the negotiation and drafting of the financing documents.

The project is located in a fundamental site for the development of Uruguay, as it is located in the department of Rocha, bordering Brazil, playing a key role for overland exports.
