Ferrere counsels Nutrex on acquisition of ContiParaguay plant

Ferrere, through its team in Paraguay, has counselled Nutrex, an agribusiness company with operations in various markets in the region, on the acquisition of a grain processing plant and other assets owned by ContiParaguay.

This operation is part of Nutrex’s investment plan in Paraguay, which includes the purchase of land, optimisation of the operations plant, hiring of personnel, improvements in logistics and construction of new facilities. In this way, the company – which was founded in 2014 and exports to more than 65 countries globally – is reinforcing its presence in the local market, while strengthening its regional operations.

Ferrere’s team was led by partner Carlos Vasconsellos (pictured), with support from lawyers Luis Marcio Torales Oviedo, Laura Magaly Fernandez and Josefina María Sosa Miranda, among others.
