Ferrere counsels on sale of J. Fleischman y Cía. to Grupo Vázquez
Ferrere Paraguay has advised Grupo Vázquez and J. Fleischman y Cía. on the acquisition of 100% of the shares of J.Fleischman by Grupo Vázquez
Ferrere, through its team in Asunción, has counselled both Grupo Vázquez, a Paraguayan multi-sector holding company, and J. Fleischman y Cía., a leading local printing and technology company, in the acquisition of 100% of the shareholding of J. Fleischman y Cía. by Grupo Vázquez.
Grupo Vazquez now aims to merge J. Fleischman with ITTI, consolidating its position as a technology leader in the Fintech sector.
ITTI is a local publicly traded company, leader in the development of technology applicable to the financial sector and banking solutions for companies in the Fintech sector.
With more than 30 years in the market, J. Fleischman offers printing hardware solutions, digitalisation for offices, document management software and cybersecurity, among others.
Ferrere’s advice in this transaction was carried out under a “Chinese wall” scheme, with different teams advising buyers and sellers. Thus, the advice to Grupo Vázquez was led by partner Carlos Codas Zavala (pictured left), and associates Maurizio De Oliveira Lagoa and Yamina Beatriz Centurión Coronel. On the other hand, the advice to J. Fleischman y Cía. was led by partner Nestor Loizaga (pictured right), and associates Manfred Heyn, Belén Ayala and Melissa Nathalie Rojas Plaz.
