Ferrere represents Barentz in acquisition of Insuquim
Ferrere, through its team in Paraguay, has advised Barentz on the acquisition of Insuquim, a recognised player in the market for the supply of specialty chemicals and ingredients.
Barentz is a global leader in the supply of specialty ingredients and solutions. The company supplies specialty ingredients from leading manufacturers around the world from its state-of-the-art custom formulation centres and application laboratories in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), the Americas and Asia-Pacific.
Insuquim is known as one of the leading distributors of speciality ingredients in Paraguay, supplying the industrial, pharmaceutical, human nutrition and personal care markets. The acquisition expands Barentz’s presence in Paraguay and complements Barentz’s strong network across South America and is expected to accelerate growth in local markets through a complementary and expanded portfolio of specialty ingredients.
Ferrere’s team was led by partner Verónica Franco (pictured), and included professionals Fernanda Benítez, Estefanía Baranski, Luana Fretes, Alejandro López, Sofía Rattazzi, Matías Chaves, Ana Echauri and Tiago Marín.
