Ferrere represents Grupo Vázquez in FIELCO acquisition

Ferrere Paraguay has advised Grupo Vázquez in the process of obtaining 64% control of Financiera el Comercio

 Ferrere has represented Grupo Vázquez in the process of acquiring control (64.07% of the share capital) of Financiera el Comercio S.A.E.C.A. (FIELCO), a financial institution operating in Paraguay since 1976.
This transaction was authorised by the local competition authority without conditions on 2 November 2021.

Thanks to the acquisition, Grupo Vázquez will increase its economic activities by carrying out an internal reorganisation under which FIELCO will absorb Credicentro S.A.E.C.A., the financial unit of Grupo Credicentro.
Grupo Vázquez is a Paraguayan holding company that operates in different sectors such as finance, livestock, gastronomy and entertainment.
