Figueiredo e Velloso Advogados strengthens its Competition Law area
The new partner Bruno Droghetti Magalhães Santos will be the head of the area
Figueiredo e Velloso Advogados has incorporated new partner Bruno Droghetti, who will head the Competition Law area.
With extensive experience in Brazil and abroad, Bruno Droghetti Magalhães Santos joins the firm after a period of two and a half years at the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade). Before that, he worked as a consultant for the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, USA, and advocated in large law firms, mainly in the area of Competition Law.
He has a post-graduate degree in economic law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) in São Paulo and an LL.M. from the University of California – Berkeley. He is the author of several articles in the area of Antitrust and Competition Law.
