Franco Leutewiler Henriques Advogados advised Laboratório Paulo Azevedo in its sale to the publicly traded company Hermes Pardini, for BRL 127,000,000.00.

Laboratório Paulo Azevedo has 22 units located in Belém and six other cities in the state of Pará, and 600 direct employees. It is a leader in the diagnostic medicine market in the Northeast of Brazil, and the largest laboratory group operating in the North Region of Brazil.

This is one of the most relevant M&A deals of the year in the Brazilian health sector. A very relevant deal represents the entry of the Hermes Pardini Group into the Northern Region of Brazil.
