Franco Leutewiler Henriques Advogados (FLH Advogados) is a new firm that resulted from the merger of former members of other firms. The team formed by Nancy Franco, Gabriel Leutewiler, Vitor Henrique, Aline Dias (top image from left to right) adds its experience to that of the already renowned Thiago Soares Gerbasi, Gabriela Sella, Aldo Martinez and Gabriela Conca (bottom image from left to right).
Most of the attorneys are former members of Santos Neto Advogados (Gabriel Leutewiler, Vitor Henriques, Aldo Martinez and Gabriela Sella) and Muriel Medici Franco Advogados (Nancy Franco, Thiago Soares Gerbasi and Aline Dias), who also join Gabriela de Souza Conca, formerly of Pinheiro Neto Advogados.
The firm starts its trajectory with 60 lawyers, more than 300 active clients, and a history of leadership in the national agribusiness scenario, as well as in sectors such as capital markets, health, technology, renewable energy and real estate.
FLH Advogados brings the concept of multi-area corporate law in a lean full-service model, with head offices in São Paulo, and focuses on Mergers and Acquisitions, Banking and Finance, Capital Markets, Project Finance, Contracts, Strategic Litigation, Arbitration and Mediation, Labor and Tax.
Nancy Franco has 20 years of experience in Litigation, Consulting and Contracts, representing interests of multinational companies in the agribusiness sector. She has experience in transactions involving the entire agribusiness chain, from the purchase and sale of commodities, land leases and partnerships, warranties, logistics, as well as in the areas of Liability, Agronomic Law, Possessory Law, Contractual Law, Commercial and Corporate Litigation and Real Estate.
Gabriel Leutewiler has vast experience in advising foreign and local investors in structuring and implementing operations in Brazil, currently leading a first class practice for his clients in Debt Operations (including traditional financing, trade finance and project finance), Capital Markets and Real Estate. He has also provided innovative legal advice on the structuring of investment funds (FIPs, FIDCs, FIMs and FIIs) and securitization transactions mainly related to Agribusiness and Real Estate.
Vitor Henriques has experience in M&A, Corporate Law and Capital Markets, having worked in the main law firms of the country and participated in several transactions in various sectors of the economy. Vitor is a guest professor in post-graduation courses at Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA-USP), Trevisan Escola de Negócios and FK Partners. He signs several specialized articles and gives lectures and classes on Corporate Law and Capital Markets.
Aline Dias has dedicated her legal career to the area of Dispute Prevention and Resolution, having represented clients in some of the largest litigation cases in the country. She holds a Master’s degree in Procedural Law from the University of São Paulo and is currently also a Professor of Arbitration, Mediation, Civil Procedure and Technology in different post-graduate courses in Law. Since 2018, Aline is the Regional Coordinator of the Brazilian Arbitration Committee – CBAr.
Thiago Soares Gerbasi is a partner of the firm and has over 10 years of experience in Litigation, Consulting and Contractual areas, representing interests of multinational companies in the agribusiness sector. He holds a Master’s degree in Civil Law, with emphasis in Agricultural Law, from the University of São Paulo.
Aldo Martinez is a lawyer experienced in labor law consulting and litigation. He has headed the labor law department of renowned law firms in the country. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the São Bernardo do Campo Law School. Specialist in Labor Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, where she earned her Master’s Degree and is currently pursuing her Doctorate. International experience at the law firm Proskauer LLP Rose in New York. He is an effective member of the Commission for Relations between OAB/SP and the Regional Labor Court of the 2nd Region. She also participates in the Labor Law Commission of the São Paulo Lawyers Institute (IASP).
Gabriela Sella has more than 10 years of experience and is a specialist in M&A transactions, Corporate Law, Corporate Restructuring, Foreign Investments in Brazil and Brazilian Investments abroad, as well as extensive experience in Contracts and regulatory issues related to such transactions. In the last years, she has participated in several transactions in various sectors of the economy.
Gabriela Conca, responsible for the Tax area, works in Strategic Consulting with focus on Taxation Analysis of new business models and products, especially in the Digital Economy.
