Former partner of RSZ&M announces new firm, MCM Advogados
MCM Advogados announced the start of its activities in São Paulo. Headquartered on Avenida Brasil, the new firm, founded by Marcel Marquesi (pictured left), focuses on labour, civil, environmental and corporate law, involving national and international companies in various sectors and countries.
Led by partner Marcel Marquesi, who has worked for renowned law firms, MCM Advogados works in labour liability management and preventive consultancy, in civil litigation and consultancy and family law, in corporate litigation and consultancy.
Rodrigo Meyer (pictured center) and Amir Kamel (pictured right), from CKM, have joined and expanded the team of partners at MCM Advogados, which has around 30 professionals in various legal specialities.
The firm has emerged to provide more assertive and agile legal solutions combined with technical excellence and a highly qualified team of professionals who help boost clients’ businesses with an ethical and contemporary approach.
With a law degree from Universidade Paulista, Marcel has worked as a lawyer for over 25 years and was a founding partner of RSZ&M Advogados, where he developed and structured the firm’s practice areas. He holds a Master’s degree in Comparative Law from John Marshall Law School in Chicago and specialises in American Law from Georgetown University, DC. He is a member of the São Paulo Lawyers Association (AASP) and the International Lawyers Association in Chicago.
Rodrigo Meyer graduated in Law from PUC-SP, specialising in Intellectual Property, Copyright and Entertainment Law from ESA. With more than 15 years’ experience, Rodrigo works in advisory and litigation areas in copyright and other areas of intellectual property, civil law and consumer law. Amir Kamel graduated in Law from Mackenzie and specialises in Civil Procedure from PUC-SP. He works in consultancy and litigation in the areas of civil law, contracts and consumer law, and is a mediator trained by the Institute of Mediation and Arbitration of Brazil (IMAB).
MCM Advogados will take over the client portfolio, focusing on labour, civil, environmental and corporate law, both in advisory and litigation.
