Freitas Ferraz announces new practice area and new partner
Freitas Ferraz Advogados has launched a practice dedicated to labor and social security law. To lead the new practice, the firm announces the arrival of Cristina Borja (photo) as a partner. The new area will strengthen the firm’s ability to provide comprehensive and strategic legal solutions to clients in advisory and litigation matters.
Cristina holds a Master’s degree in Labor Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (PUC Minas) and a Law degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), and brings extensive experience in labor and social security matters. Her career has been marked by high-value preventive advisory work, strategic insight, and a holistic approach to complex corporate issues.
Previously, Cristina was a partner at Campos Fialho (now Madrona) and at Borja Campos Duarte; in both firms, she was responsible for the Labor and Social Security practice. Cristina alsoserved on the Labor Relations Council of the Federation of Industries of the State of Minas Gerais (FIEMG) and was a professor of Labor Law in undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
