Galicia Abogados adds arbitration partner from DLA Piper in Mexico

Galicia Abogados announced that Cecilia Azar has joined its litigation and arbitration practice group as partner. 

mexico cityAzar graduated in law from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and holds postgraduate degrees in international trade, mediation, and international arbitration, among others. She has over 20 years of experience in litigation and arbitration. In addition, Azar is currently the vice president of the arbitration commission of ICC Mexico. 

Prior to joining Galicia Abogados, she was a partner at DLA Piper in Mexico City. 

With her arrival, Galicia is now home to 26 partners.
