Galindo, Arias & López instructed on extension of fuel concession in Panama

Panamanian law firm Galindo, Arias & López advised Petroterminal de Panama in obtaining a 20-year extension from the government  to continue operating a fuel storage complex.

Petroterminal de Panama owns and operates crude oil handling and storage facilities in Panama. The extension to the concession was granted to the fuel storage terminals in Bocas del Toro and Chiriquí, in the Atlantic and Pacific coasts of Panama, respectively. The company also operates an oil pipeline that runs through the Panamanian Isthmus; and energy generation power plants and a general cargo pier on the Atlantic coast of the country.

Partners Diego de la Guardia and Selva Quintero led the team from Galindo, Arias & López advising on the deal.
