García & Bodán instructed on first international bond issue by Invatlan

García & Bodán acted as Honduras counsel to Oppenheimer on first international bond issue by Invatlan.

Inversiones Atlántida (Invatlan) is an investment company, member of Grupo Financiero Atlántida, the Honduras-based financial services holding.

Oppenheimer is a NY-headquartered global investment bank. It handled the bonds’ placement in the Singapore stock market.

Partner Vanessa Oquelí led the García & Bodán team advising Oppenheimer under local law. Oquelí is also the Honduras managing partner of the law firm.

Oppenheimer instructed Greenberg Taurig as international counsel while Invatlan retained Shearman & Sterling in NY and Lopez Rodezno & Asociados locally.
