Garrigues counsels BCP on $36m financing of Pardo 200 real estate project

Garrigues Peru has counselled Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP), as lender, and Credicorp Capital Servicios Financieros, as arranger, on a $36,600,000 USD financing for Inmobiliaria Pardo 200.

The funds will be used for the development of the Pardo 200 real estate project in Lima, a 17-storey mixed-use building that will house a hotel, retail space and offices in Miraflores, Lima.

This transaction, signed on 23 August, also included the participation of CMS Grau as advisor to Inmobiliaria Pardo 200.

The advisory involved structuring the transaction as a project financing and contemplated a strict security package over the entirety of the project’s assets and contracts. In addition, the financing required the signing of agreements with the most important contractors of the project, in order to guarantee the bankability of the construction and operation agreements.

Melissa Calderón and Madelaine Castro acted as in-house counsels for BCP and Credicorp.

CMS Grau’s team was represented by partner Miguel Viale and associate Mateo Lanada.

Garrigues’ team was led by partner Diego Harman (pictured), with support from principal associate Jorge Fuentes and associate Marcelo Silva-Santisteban.
