Garrigues in different financings of $189.9m to Pesquera Diamante
Garrigues Peru has advised several financial institutions on four simultaneous financings for Pesquera Diamante, for a cumulative total amount of US$189.9m.
The firm advised BBVA on the structuring and execution of a US$24.9 million bilateral financing, signed on 20 December.
It also advised Banco BCI Peru and Banco de Crédito e Inversiones- Sucursal Miami (BCI) in the structuring and execution of two bilateral financings for a total amount of US$30 million, signed on 23 December 2024.
Another entity was Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP), which was advised on the structuring and execution of a bilateral financing for US$60 million, which was signed on 30 December and disbursed on 31 December 2024.
Finally, Garrigues advised Banco Internacional del Perú- Interbank in the structuring and execution of a bilateral financing for up to US$ 75 million, signed on December 23, 2024.
The funds obtained in this financing will be used mainly for the repayment of financial debt and other corporate uses essential for the strengthening of the company and its continued expansion in the market.
Pesquera Diamante is recognised for its key contribution to the global supply of fishmeal and fish oil, canned, fresh and frozen products.
This financing represents a milestone for Pesquera Diamante, consolidating its position as a leader in the Peruvian fishing industry and reaffirming its commitment to contribute to the nutrition of the world’s people through the production of healthy seafood.
