Gasparini, Nogueira de Lima e Barbosa Advogados announced the admission of three new partners

Gasparini, Nogueira de Lima e Barbosa Advogados, which will be 18 years old in 2022, announced the admission of three new partners: Marilia P. Tubelis (pictured left), Desire Tamberlini Campiotti Pajola (pictured center) and Guilherme J. Dantas (pictured right).

The arrival of the lawyers is part of the firm’s consolidation plan in the national and international legal markets with a focus on new business.

Attorney Marilia P. Tubelis will reinforce the performance of the Office in the Tax Advisory area, having wide experience in the elaboration of tax planning works involving corporate reorganizations, support to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) operations, corporate restructuring, as well as tax and corporate compliance with focus on the review of existing procedures, elaboration of projects, and follow-up of tax issues related to the daily routine of companies.

In Energy and Infrastructure, the new partner is Desire Tamberlini Campiotti Pajola. With vast experience in the Energy area, advising national and international clients on multiple aspects of the Electricity Sector Law, Desire is the coordinator of the Natural Gas Commission of the Brazilian Institute of Energy Law Studies (IBDE); a member of the Energy Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association in São Paulo; and a member of the Energy Commission of IWB Brazil – Infra Women Brazil.

In the Corporate & Finance area, Guilherme J. Dantas has extensive experience in Corporate Law (Start Up, M&A with focus on distress assets, judicial recoveries and turnaround, international investments, governance & compliance, etc.) and Competition Law. He was legal representative of several direct investors in Brazil, board-member and interim CEO of several businesses in Brazil, especially in Services and Technology.
