García & Bodán has locally represented Cosmos International Private Limited, a company organised and existing under the laws of India, to license a branch office in Nicaragua.
The advice included assistance in the registration procedures and approvals required to be able to operate properly in the country, as well as in the process of negotiating and executing contracts with the Nicaraguan Ministry of Health (MINSA) and other Nicaraguan ministries or authorities.
Cosmos is an Export House and EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) Contractor that has executed projects in several countries, particularly in relation to the Health, Agriculture, Industrialisation, Housing and Printing Technology sectors. In Nicaragua, the company, in partnership with MINSA, has contracted the construction and commissioning of six Covid-19 Hospitals and an Oncology Consultation Centre, as well as the supply of equipment for a Molecular Biology Laboratory.
