GC counsels ACFIN on $1.8bn loan facility
Gonzalez Calvillo has counselled Administradora de Activos Financieros (ACFIN), as master servicer, on a $1.8bn syndicated loan granted to Grupo Industrial IGSA by Santander Mexico as structuring bank, administrative agent and collateral agent.
Mijares Angoitia Cortés y Fuentes (MACF) acted as advisor to Santander. In addition, Banco Actinver, Banco Multiva, Banco del Bajío, Banco Sabadell, BanCoppel, Intercam Banco and CIBanco participated as lenders in the transaction.
The transaction, which closed on 4 June, had a complex structure that included amendments to an existing guarantee trust.
