Giamundo Neto announces new partner
Giamundo Neto Advogados has just announced the arrival of Clicia Souza (pictured) as a new partner in the corporate area. The professional has experience advising national and international companies from different sectors of the economy, in corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, corporate governance, cross-border transactions, estate planning, corporate reorganizations, financing, debt issues, corporate conflicts and contracts.
In her professional career, Clicia Souza has also accumulated significant experience in large M&A transactions, including infrastructure assets, among which stands out the assignment of the concession contract for Line 6 of the São Paulo subway (the largest concession contract in Latin America), in which she advised the concessionaire and shareholders.
The new partner’s goal is to unite her experience in corporate matters in different sectors of the economy, including the infrastructure and energy markets, with the firm’s business vision in the areas of Public and Corporate Law to deliver a better solution for her clients.
Clicia Souza graduated from Faculdade de Direito Milton Campos, has a specialization in U.S. Law from Columbia Law School and in Creating Value in Agreements and Disputes from Harvard Law School. She is also a member of the OAB Federal Commission on Infrastructure Law and of Infrawomen (a non-profit group dedicated to promoting and encouraging the presence of women in the infrastructure sector).
