Gomez Pinzón Abogados has counselled Aritmétika on a $60m forward contract with Banco Santander


Gomez Pinzón Abogados advised the private capital fund manager Aritmétika on a $60m forward foreign exchange contract with Banco Santander Colombia. The aim was protecting one of their investors, not revealed, from the devaluation of the Colombian peso against the dollar.

Gomez Pinzon team was led by partner Daniel Londoño Pinzón (pictured), and involved senior associate Daniel Flórez Linero and junior associates Silvia Robledo Rojas and Alejandro Ortiz Caballero. Banco Santander Colombia was represented by its in-house lawyer Luis María Echeverri.
