Gómez-Pinzón advises Globant Ventures on two start-ups investments

Gómez-Pinzón has counselled Globant Ventures in the negotiation of a convertible note in LookApp and a convertible note into shares in B2CHAT

Gómez-Pinzón has advised Globant Ventures, the investment arm of Globant that invests in technology start-ups in the negotiation of a convertible equity note in LookApp, as well as in the negotiation of the convertible equity note in B2CHAT.

The transaction was signed on February 12 and marks the first of several deals in which Globant is participating with high-profile Colombian start-ups.

LookApp is a market research start-up that developed a digital platform, which gathers market information from an extensive community of users, through which ordinary people can capture and report vital information for brands in exchange for financial remuneration.

B2CHAT is a start-up that developed software that allows companies to unify all their communication channels (including social media) with their customers in a single app. This allows companies to have a more organised and efficient communication.

Gómez-Pinzón team was led by partner Natalia García Arenas (pictured), together with associate María Clara Palacios, and junior associate Santiago Villamil Ospina.
