Gómez Pinzón advises VIP Green Mobility on Celsia acquisition
Gómez-Pinzón has counselled VIP Green Mobility LLC on the purchase of 100% of the shares of Celsia Move
Colombian law firm Gómez-Pinzón has advised VIP Green Mobility LLC, as legal structurer, in the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Celsia Move from Celsia Colombia S.A. ESP.
This transaction is the first in the history of the local market by means of which the participation of a concessionaire company in the provision of the Integrated Public Transport System of Bogota is purchased.
VIP Green Mobility, based in Geneva, is a Swiss company that aims to participate in the bidding process for electric buses in the city of Bogota to supply electric buses and supporting infrastructure.
Celsia is the energy company of Grupo Argos with an innovative portfolio focused on energy efficiency that seeks to bring sustainability to cities, productivity to companies and better quality of life to households. It has a presence in Colombia, Panama and Costa Rica and a generation capacity of 2,399 MW from 28 hydroelectric, thermal, photovoltaic, wind and solar plants that generate around 7,750 GWh annually.
