Gómez-Pinzón assists Soluna Energía’s entry to Colombia

Gómez-Pinzón has helped renewable energy company, Soluna Energía, on its incorporation to Colombia

 

Colombian law firm, Gómez-Pinzón has assisted Soluna Energía S.A.S. E.S.P. in all matters related to the incorporation of the company in Colombia, as well as the negotiation of the shareholder’s agreement between the founding shareholders, the energy regulatory affairs of the business and the seed capital investment made by Acumen Fund, Inc. and other investors, through a promissory note purchase agreement.

The transaction was signed on the 8 of April and had a value of $965,000 dollars.

Soluna is a start-up company offering pay-as-you-go solar home kits for off-grid rural households in Colombia.

Gómez-Pinzón’s team, which included members of his corporate, banking and finance and energy practices, was formed by partners Daniel Londoño Pinzón (pictured left) and Patricia Arrázola Bustillo (pictured right), along with associates Tonia Orozco Araújo, Daniela Romero Castellanos, Juanita Fonseca Duffo and Mariana Lobo Guerrero.
