Gómez-Pinzón counsels on sale of FoxTelecolombia and TeleMéxico stake

Gómez-Pinzón has assisted in a stake sale of FoxTelecolombia and Estudios TeleMéxico to ViacomCBS

 Colombian law firm Gómez-Pinzón has advised the Duque family, founders of Foxtelecolombia and Estudios Telemexico, on the sale of part of their stake in these companies to ViacomCBS (MTV and Cartoon Network).

VIS of ViacomCBS International Studios, a division of Vcni will operate Fox TeleColombia & Estudios TeleMéxico as a joint venture with the founding family. The other seller was The Walt Disney Company which sold 100% of its stake.

Gómez-Pinzón’s team was led by partner José Luis Suárez (pictured left) and counsel María Fernanda Restrepo (pictured top right), with support from associates Carolina Vargas (pictured bottom right) and María Clara Palacio.
