Gómez- Pinzón, with Lina Uribe García (pictured), partner, María Fernanda Restrepo, counsel, and Álvaro Rueda Cotes, associate, advised Porcelanite Lamosa, S.A. de C.V., a Mexican company dedicated to the manufacture and marketing of ceramic tiles and part of Grupo Lamosa, in the acquisition of Eurocerámica S.A.S., one of the leading manufacturers of ceramic tiles in Colombia. The deal was structured through a capital contribution and the acquisition of 100% of the shares. Eurocerámica S.A.S. was under an insolvency proceeding. It was necessary to implement a payment structure of the existing debts of the Company in order to terminate the proceeding and close the deal.
