Greenberg Traurig adds real estate team from Haynes and Boone in Mexico

Greenberg Traurig announced that José Antonio Diez de Bonilla Martinez and Gerardo Carrillo Valadez have joined its Mexico City office as partners, together with associates Julio Sardina, Roberto Guerrero, and Maria Jose Garciavilla.

 

The team, which joins from Haynes and Boone in the Mexican capital, are set to join real estate practice group. 

Diez de Bonilla Martinez focuses his practice on real estate matters, particularly on M&A, joint ventures and development transactions across various industries, including hospitality and retail. 

Carrillo Valadez has more than 17 years of experience within the Mexican market, and brings wide-ranging knowledge of residential, commercial, industrial, and hospitality projects.

With the new arrivals the Mexico office is now home to 48 lawyers. Globally, Greenberg Traurig has more than 2,000 attorneys in 38 offices in the United States, Latin America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
