Guerrero Olivos assists with Caja Los Andes’ bond offering
Chilean law firm Guerrero Olivos has represented Caja de Compensación de Asignación Familiar de Los Andes (Caja Los Andes) in the registration of a $336 million local bond offering.
BICE bank represented the bondholders.
Caja Los Andes is the leading social security services provider in Chile, with a more than 60 per cent market share.
Guerrero Olivos’ capital markets team was in charge of the whole transaction, which was executed in the context of a diversification of Caja Los Andes’ financial sources plan, and which will allow Caja Los Andes to optimise the security benefits and loans to its affiliates during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The firm’s team was led by partner Roberto Guerrero (pictured), with senior associate César Gálvez and junior associate Josefina Sánchez.
