Guerrero Olivos bolts on labour boutique

Chilean law firm Guerrero Olivos announced the integration of labour boutique Estudio García de la Pastora into the firm.

Rocío García de la Pastora Zavala launched her law firm in 2003 after a number of in-house roles at government institutions. She graduated in law from the Universidad Central de Chile and also holds a PhD in Labour Law from the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain.

García de la Pastora is also a pre-and post-graduate professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, both in labour law and in litigation. She joins Guerrero Olivos as senior counsel and is tasked with leading the labour practice at the firm.

The firm said that the move responds to growing client demand for labour legal services, collective bargaining and labour fundamental rights litigation in the aftermath of the recently enacted labour reform in Chile.
