Guerrero Olivos instructed on Chilean aspects of Telefónica´s global restructuring
Guerrero Olivos advised Telefónica on the Chilean leg of the multinational´s €3.5 billion corporate restructuring.
The operation, which spanned several countries, followed the company´s push to simplify corporate structure, reduce costs and move forward to a more efficient business platform.
In Chile, Guerrero Olivos handled the merger of Telefónica Chile with its affiliate, Telefónica Larga Distancia; the division of another company of the group into two corporations and the assets transfer between those two entities. The law firm also advised on the merger of Telefónica Móviles Chile with its holding company.
