Gusmão & Labrunie Advogados announces a new partner
Gusmão & Labrunie Advogados has announced the arrival of José Eduardo Pieri (pictured) as a new partner reinforcing the firm’s Technology and Data Protection practice. He will also strengthen the transactional, advisory and contracts practices in the intellectual property area. Previously, he worked at BMA Advogados.
Pieri’s experience involves industrial property, copyright, privacy, data protection, advertising regulation and artificial intelligence cases, working in both the advisory and litigation spheres.
As well as being a partner, José Eduardo also sits on the board of the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI) and is coordinator of the Digital Rights Commission.
