H&K counsels on Fibra UNO’s $300m green credit facility
Holland & Knight has represented a co-investment vehicle of Fibra UNO in a USD 300 million green credit facility
Holland & Knight, through its Mexico City team, has counselled a co-investment vehicle of Fibra UNO, a real estate investment trust, in connection with a $300 million US dollar green credit facility provided by Banco Santander, BBVA, HSBC, Banco Sabadell, Banregio and Intercam Banco.
The transaction, closed on 18 March, will allow Fibra UNO, together with its partner Helios, a publicly traded fund (CKD), use the proceeds to complete the construction and development of Mitikah, a premium urban neighbourhood in the cultural heart of Mexico City, which includes a skyscraper called Torre Mitikah. The building is set to be awarded the Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiency (EDGE) Certificate, which is awarded to projects that reduce energy and water consumption and minimise the energy footprint of building materials.
H&K’s team included partners Guillermo Uribe Lara (pictured left) and Adrián Gay Lasa (pictured right).
