H&Cía welcomes Pamela Arce as new partner
Hernández & Cía. has announced the incorporation of Pamela Arce (pictured), as a new partner of the firm, as leader of the Restructuring and Insolvency area, and consultancy in aeronautical matters.
Pamela has more than 20 years of experience in insolvency law and corporate restructuring and has participated in several important insolvency proceedings, private refinancing transactions, purchase and sale of assets of companies in insolvency, as well as in insolvency and corporate liquidations of particular relevance.
She has also advised debtors and creditors from different industries in negotiations aimed at avoiding insolvency situations, as well as in all stages of insolvency proceedings before the Insolvency Proceedings Commission of INDECOPI. Her work also includes the planning and drafting of restructuring plans, private refinancing agreements, challenging creditors’ meeting agreements and advising on the liquidation of companies within the framework of the General Companies Act.
Previously, she was counsel at De Bracamonte Haaker & Castellares; Legal and Corporate Affairs Manager at Sky Airline Peru and senior associate at Rebaza Alcázar & De las Casas for over 11 years. She was also an international associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton NY.
She holds a law degree from the University of Lima (magna cum laude), a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Berkeley and a Business specialization certificate from the same university.
With this addition, the firm now has 26 partners and more than 100 lawyers.
