HD signs new lawyers in Regulatory and Environmental Law
Chilean HD Group has announced the consolidation of the Regulatory and Environmental Law area through the incorporation of attorneys Juan Ignacio Marín, as head of the practice, and Antonia Recher, as associate.
Juan Ignacio (pictured left) is a lawyer from Universidad de los Andes with a specialization and mention in Environmental Law. He also has a diploma in Economic Administrative Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He has a vast experience in the field, having been part of Guerrero Olivos Novoa y Errázuriz; Yávar & Silva; Cubillo Evans; Quiroz Abogados; and Marín Abogados, where he focused his practice in Energy, Natural Resources and Environmental matters, in addition to civil and administrative litigation, constitutional actions, arbitration and mediation. She was also in charge of the management of due diligence of energy projects, especially in regulatory and environmental aspects.
Antonia (pictured right)-who joins the new practice area as an associate- is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and has a diploma in Natural Resources Law with a specialization in Energy Law. She has developed her career at Eyzaguirre & Cía, Urenda Rencoret Orrego y Dörr, and Marín Abogados, where he worked in the area of Energy, Projects and Infrastructure, focusing on advising clients in the development, financing and construction of energy and infrastructure projects in Chile, mainly in the acquisition, maintenance and development of photovoltaic energy projects, coordination of due diligence processes, drafting of due diligence reports and preparation of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and Operation & Maintenance Agreements (O&M). He also has experience in the civil, commercial, environmental and administrative litigation areas of the firm.
