Headrick advises lenders on Dominican Republic solar plant financing
Headrick Rizik Alvarez & Fernandez advised the development banks of Germany, Belgium and Netherlands on the $85 million financing for a solar power plant in the Dominican Republic.
The solar plant, which will produce 103 MWH of clean electricity per year, has 215,000 solar panel modules and will power about 50,000 homes. The project was constructed by F&S Solar, along with private investment by Blue Elephant Energy and the financing granted by the development banks DEG, BIO and FMO from Germany, Belgium and Netherlands, respectively,
