Acquisition volume in the healthcare sector registers a 42% increase in 2021
The transactional market registered in the healthcare segment in 2021, a total of 270 mergers and acquisitions, between announced and closed, taking into account that 47% of the transactions had their values disclosed, the segment mobilized a capital of BRL 37.5bi, according to data from the Transactional Track Record (www.TTRecord.com).
August and December of last year were the months that registered the highest volume of transactions, accounting for 32 operations in each period. In terms of value, June was the month that presented the largest capital, with BRL 9.6bi.
The year 2021 also stood out in the sector, for being the one that registered the highest volume of transactions, compared to the last four years.
