Hilú, Costódio & Caron Baptista, a law firm from Curitiba with nationwide coverage, announced the arrival of Felipe Bezerra da Silva (pictured) to strengthen the Data Protection and Compliance area, currently led by founding partner Ubirajara Costódio Filho, Chairman of the Committee on Compliance and Anti-Corruption Studies of the Brazilian Bar Association, Paraná State Chapter.
Felipe has a Master’s degree in Governance and Sustainability and is a specialist in Compliance from the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) and KPMG Business School.
In addition to being a certified Lead Auditor in ISO 37001 and 37301, Felipe has extensive experience in developing, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating Compliance programs, as well as projects for adequacy and compliance with the General Law of Data Protection, in addition to managing corporate risks, conducting internal and defensive investigations, high complexity due diligences, among other Compliance mechanisms and procedures.
