H&K adds Alexandra Aguirre as partner in Latin America practice

Holland & Knight has announced the addition of corporate lawyer Alexandra Aguirre (pictured) as a new partner in the firm’s Miami office as part of the Corporate, M&A, Securities and Latin America practice areas.

Roberto Pupo, head of the firm’s Latin America Practice, commented, “Her more than 20 years of experience in cross-border M&A, as well as serving the needs of family businesses and their family offices, which are some of the biggest drivers of economic growth in Latin America, are especially valuable as well-known families continue to gain influence and diversify their investments.”

A law graduate of Northeastern University School of Law and a graduate of Babson College, Alexandra is licensed to practice law in Florida and New York. She is currently a member of the American Bar Association and the International Bar Association.

Her practice focuses on international M&A, joint ventures and cross-border financing transactions, as well as private equity investments throughout Latin America and the United States. In addition, she advises on private company management matters and corporate advice to family-owned businesses.

Prior to joining the firm, she was an associate at Hunton & Williams, a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig, a partner at Morrison & Foerster, and a director at Bladex.
